Description

This 4-person apartment is part of a residence with pool and tennis court. It is situated in a quiet area near the town of Torrevieja, on the Costa Blanca. It is within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. The golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Rambles are less than 10 minutes away by car. Torrevieja is a bustling city and a popular resort. Nearby you will find an aqua park, riding school and go kart track.
Because of its 320 days of sunshine per year, the Costa Blanca is an ideal destination for a summer or winter holiday. There is a large marina nearby and a beautiful promenade along the sea with a night market and fair. There is also a large market every Saturday (within walking distance of the apartment). The beaches are about 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk. You'll find mostly sandy beaches, but also small pebble beaches, some only accessible by boat. Do you like picturesque fishing villages and fashionable resorts of prestigious marinas? Both can be found along the Costa Blanca, as well as everything in between. The hinterland is also beautiful and rich in culture. Here you can find ancient castles and sleepy little villages. You can make trips through vast pine forests and along rocky massifs or orange groves. White houses glow in the sun. And of course do not forget the fine food, tapas and Spanish wines!

Local area

The Costa Blanca lies on the southeastern coast of Spain and is part of the “Comunidad Valenciana”. It is a coast with beautiful, golden beaches and sheltered bays. The Costa Blanca gets its name not from the famous beaches, but from the white flowering trees.
The white sandy beaches adorned with towering sea cliffs create a striking coastline. The Costa Blanca also has a wonderful climate. The jagged mountains behind the coast block the wind from the Spanish countryside. Summers are not too hot and winters are quite mild. The average temperature is 18° C. In summer it is no hotter than about 30° C. At Christmas the temperature on the Costa Blanca is usually about 20° C. The Costa Blanca is justly famous for its wonderful sandy beaches and intimate coves. Children can build sandcastles on the beach and collect shells at low tide. From your deck chair under a big umbrella you can keep an eye on them. In the evening enjoy delicious fish at the harbor. Sailing, water-skiing and diving, it is all possible here. There are many marinas where you can rent a sailboat or surfboard. The numerous diving schools offer both courses and one-day diving instruction. Highly recommended - especially for your children - is a trip along the coast on a glass bottom boat where you will get exciting glimpses into the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean! The Costa Blanca is a beautiful coast of course, but the interior is also quite magnificent. The countryside is rolling and hilly, with relatively strong growth. Inland there are bare, rocky hills and rugged mountains of granite and sandstone in a variety of whimsical forms. You will encounter hills, vineyards, almond orchards and vast gardens. The fauna of the interior is also quite varied: boar, deer, fox, hares and rabbits, and birds such as woodpeckers, owls and fighting cocks. If you keep an eye out during your walk, chances are you will encounter one of these animals. If you're here in spring, the scent of the blossoms is overwhelming. In the vast pine forests you can enjoy coolness on hot days, like the Spaniards do on their picnics. In the interior you will find many typical Spanish villages, each with their own specialties and festivities. Highly recommended are the caves of Busot (Las Cuevas de Canalobre - 700 meters high).
