Description

This chalet is located in the fantastic El Chorro Campground, in the heart of Andalucia. The beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol are only 50 km away. The campsite lies near Alora, a typical white village which Andalusia is famous for. Alora is situated on a slope so you have a beautiful view of the surrounding wheat fields, citrus trees and olive groves. El Chorro Camping has several nice facilities like a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and barbecue areas (allowed only from October to April). There is also an activity team on site to organize programs such as archery, paint ball, rock climbing, abseiling and survival activities. These activities are organized for groups of at least 20 people. El Chorro Campground is a place where both young and old will have fun!

Alora is situated in the midst of the natural beauty of Andalusia. In Alora you will find the second oldest church in Spain, the Iglesia de la Encarnacion. In Alora you will also find a weekly market. Every Monday stalls fill the streets where vegetables, fruits and clothes are sold. In the surroundings there are several reservoirs with very pure water. In these lakes of southern Spain, on warm days, you can take a refreshing dip.
Culture lovers can visit the cities of Malaga, Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Ronda- all just a few hours away by car. These cities are well-known for their Moorish influences and are certainly worth a visit. Of course you can also enjoy a drink at one of the many cafes that these cities offer. Sports activities are definitely developed in this area. There are many trails which wind their way through the most beautiful spots of the environment. You can also explore the area by mountain bike. Those who desire more of a challenge can go mountain climbing, abseiling or exploring local caves. For children there are many possibilities such as Tivoli Park (amusement park), the Crocodile Park, the Wolf Park and various water parks. For golfers there are several golf courses in the area. In short, El Chorro Campground is an ideal place from where you can make excursions into the beautiful Andalucian surroundings.
